* Note: A requirement for CHEM 2050 can be substituted by BCHM/BIOL 2020 and BIOL 2070 for those transferring from a program requiring BCHM/BIOL 2020 and BIOL 2070. Otherwise, CHEM majors are not allowed to take BCHM/BIOL 2020 or BIOL 2070 because of enrollment limitations except by permission of the Undergraduate Program Director. The course credit exclusion between CHEM 2050 and BCHM/BIOL 2020 does not mean that BCHM/BIOL 2020 is sufficient to replace CHEM 2050 but merely that CHEM 2050 and BCHM/BIOL 2020 cannot both count for a degree.
Students transferring from another program that has other MATH requirements may substitute the requirement for MATH 1013 and 1014, but only with approval and/or with a minimum grade. Thus, students with MATH 1505 transferring from a Biology program would be exempted from this requirement, provided the grade in MATH 1505 was B or higher, or be required to complete MATH 1014 3.0.
MATH 1510 or 1520, CHEM 1500, PHYS 1510 and all NATS courses are ineligible. Courses that are course credit exclusions to required courses are also ineligible.
